This site has not received any external funding.  The site is provided free as an educational tool for healthcare workers.  It does not accept any advertising and has no commercial affiliations.

This web site has been developed by Dr Mahibur Rahman as part of a Masters programme in Health Informatics.

This site abides by the principles of the Health on the Net Foundation's HON code [external link] (opens in new window)

Dr Rahman graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 2001.  He completed his MSc in Health Informatics at the Centre for Health Informatics and Multiprofessional Education (CHIME) (external link), a part of University College London (external link). He received a distinction for this project and the MSc overall. Dr Rahman is currently a portfolio GP in Birmingham, and the medical director of Emedica.

The original concept was developed while he was working as a medical officer at Birmingham St Mary's Hospice, whose dedicated staff are an inspiration in giving comfort to all.

All the graphics used in this site are original works created by the developer, unless specifically stated on the page.

We will not collect any personal data about users.  If you send us feedback by email, we will only use that address to reply to you.  We will not make any addresses available to any third parties. 

Dr Mahibur Rahman retains the right to be recognised as the author of the content of this site.  You are welcome to reproduce, print or transmit the content without changes for educational purposes, but please cite the original author.  If you wish to use the content for any commercial purposes, please ask permission.
